I've had my Mini 10v for a week or so and I love it. I checked the Dell website and CNET reviews first so the battery issue mentioned in the other review was not a surprise.
The processing power, display and battery life have exceeded my expectations. For somebody just using the internet and using MS works this is a great product, hence my 5 star rating.
There are a few caveats though if you want to do more with this unit. First the screen has a 1024 x 600 resolution. Adobe does not work with a resolution lower than 768. The real problem is that you can't get to the accept button on the license agreement (very annoying). The good news is that the 10v has a VGA port and a decent graphics card, so you can plug in any old monitor to get to the accept button. FYI, Adobe and other programs will work on a 1024 x 600 resolution screen, you just have to use the scroll bar a lot.
Also the lack of a CD/DVD drive is a pain. I borrowed a friends external CD/DVD drive to install MS Office and other software. With large thumb drives available you can get around many data transfer issues.
The end result is that I have a perfectly acceptable, very light laptop with all the features of a much more expensive unit.

The 6-cell battery sticks out about two inches underneath this netbook, causing it to prop up and not fold flat. I felt deceived when I bought it based off the pictures and the display model, thinking it was nice and flat and sleek. I took it out of the box and immediately wondered what that enormous protrubence under the keyboard was, and realized it's permanent (unless you remove the battery and run off the AC adapter). It can't slide neatly into the side pocket of a briefcase or backpack, which makes it inconvenient. Dell would not help when I called and asked if they could please just send me a 3-cell battery; I would've done an even exchange and not even asked for a refund for the price difference, but they absolutely would not help. I finally convinced the store that I'd been deceived, and they allowed me to return the netbook.
VERY disappointed, with the product and Dell's customer service.
