5 out of 5 stars Good buy   September 8, 2010
Melissa (New York)
I already own a Sony Vaio laptop. But, its useless in term of portability. I needed something I could carry around for basic internet and document purposes. It doesn't have much memory, but I'd rather keep all my docs in a usb memory anyways. In addition, battery doesn't last too long... might be a drawback.
Overall, extremely portable and light! Does its job. Great price.

5 out of 5 stars Great for the price   September 7, 2010
Ryan Ziegler (Milwaukee, WI)
This little champ has the power to run our MagicJack phone system (24/7) and sips a small amount of electricity in the process. Had a computer consuming 10 times the kWh... looking forward to the electric bill to see the difference.

Price was ultimately the reason we purchased this computer. It is not designed for running games, but it can easily handle average web browsing and word processing. The touch pad does seem to jump around like other reviews say, but if it turns out to be too much of a hassle, a small, external mini-mouse could easily do the trick. The keyboard being slightly under the "standard" size is pretty easy to get used to, even for my man-sized hands (my wife has NO problem).

4 out of 5 stars Excelent Mini For A Best Price!!!   September 1, 2010
Alfredo Rene Jimenez (Cagua AR Venezuela)
The Mini Laptop are, excelent the desing, the size, and the duration of the batery and the best of all is the price!

the only cons are the Windows 7 Starter Edition, realy SUCKS! is very limited and slow, i buy a 2gb of ram and the mini flys!!!

Very good mini!

1 out of 5 stars Do not expect any support   August 24, 2010
SS (USA)
This is my 7th day on the phone wasting an hour every evening with tech support who are hard to understand. It seems that they do not have process in place to serve the customer. Some support reps are polite, but some of them were very arrogant. My battery died in a month and they told me to submit the proof of purchase. Which is pending for the approval for ever. You will treated properly, but there will be no valuable service in the end. You have to live with your problems. I think whole out sourcing of tech support was bad move. I am not going to have HP in my company anymore.
